CHS Class of 2013 Receives Diplomas

A green wave of smiling faces filed into
the Clifton High School gymnasium on Friday
night for the Class of 2013 commencement
as hundreds stood and applauded the
entrance.
The processional was offered by the CHS
Band under the direction of Keith Zuehlke,
and the invocation was offered by Brandi
Corpier.
After welcoming all to the ceremony,
Principal Sharon Bergman asked the students
who were already accepted or signed
at colleges to stand, followed by those who
were entering military service. She then
recognized and introduced Salutatorian Jarrett
Wingate.
“Now, tell the truth, aren’t you just a
little sorry to see us go?” said Wingate in
opening. “It’s not every class that can get
all the sports equipment impounded on the
elementary playground for the entire year.”
