Funeral services for Lillie Estelle Albrecht Bernhardt, 98, were held Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013 at Zion United Church with the Rev. Buck Malone officiating. Interment was at Clifton Memorial Park. Lillie Albrecht was born on May 27, 1915, in Lyon, TX to Henry and Rosie Hruska Albrecht. She passed away on Dec. 18, 2013. She moved with her parents to Clifton in 1927. She married Otto Bernhardt on Dec. 19, 1941. Together they farmed most of their life in the Clifton area. She was a member of Zion United Church in Womack. She loved her neighbors, friends, and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Rosie Albrecht; husband, Otto Bernhardt; brothers, Leo, Raymond and Alton Albrecht; and a sister, Malinda Watson. She is survived by a sister, Majorie Fulton of Forth Worth; two sisters-in-law, Clara Albrecht of Clifton and Rita Albrecht of Arlington; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Gene Albrecht, Kenneth Watson, Jonathan Mitchell, Shane Bernhardt, Max Rutherford, and Mike Bernhardt. Clifton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
