Clifton City Council met Tuesday, Feb. 11, with a short agenda and short two aldermen. In quick order, the minutes were approved as well as the consent agenda. The consent agenda approved the general election to be held May 10 to elect three aldermen; as well as the closing of Ave. D from Live Oak to FM 219 on April 26, during Main Street’s Boots ’n Brews. The regular department reports were also approved. Danny Wright was on hand to give the annual fiscal year 2012-13 audit report from Cunningham, Shaver, Christensen & Wright LLP. He said, “The report is unqualified, which means there were no irregularities in the audit.”
