When it comes to pole vaulting, Meridian Yellowjacket junior Bailey Bowers keeps taking it to an all new level. After placing ninth among 33 competitors from all over the country in the 15-16 age group at the 48th USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships held at Turner Stadium in Humble two weeks ago, Bowers followed up with a trip to the TAAF Summer Games of Texas last Friday at College Station High School.
