In just over a year of construction, Meridian Independent School District added two impressive facilities to the campuses, a state-of-the-art field house with automatic flush toilets and concession stand, and a middle school extension to house grades six - eight with a top-notch science lab. On Nov. 5, the public was invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony and to view these new facilities by Superintendent Dr. John Horak and the MISD school board.
