Going into the final weekend of the 2013 Texas high school football regular season, all but two of the eight Bosque County teams were playing for something - whether it was its respective district title or a playoff berth. And even though it could have been so much more, the county will be well represented in the UIL state playoffs. While six of the area’s eight high school football teams were playing for something, three schools - Merdian, Walnut Springs and Cranfills Gap - will advance into the postseason.
