Dr. Seuss’ birthday celebrated with challenge

Annually, the Meridian Elementary School celebrates Dr. Seuss’ birthday with a special celebration focused on reading. This year Dr. Seuss’ - whose real name was Theodor Geisel – would have been 110 years old on March 2. On February 28, students and teachers wore pajamas and Seuss attire for the day. Students also created Dr. Seuss art projects and received prizes for participating in the day’s activities.
