When visiting Venice, composer Karl Jenkins came across a painting in an art gallery. His wife and fellow musician, Carol, remarked, that it looked like his music sounded. The artist unknowingly translated the music he was listening to onto his canvas. The music was Karl Jenkins’. With their program choice for their premiere performance as duo pianists, Michelle and Bruno Ribeiro took music and painted mind pictures for their audience in the Tin Building Theatre in Clifton May 22.
