Honoring Necessary

A full-house was on hand at the Bosque Museum on Saturday for the special presentation of the DAR Distinguished Citizen Award honoring Specialist Justin Necessary, U.S. Army, for his service while serving in Afghanistan. The colors were presented by Ricky Richards, John Stone and Eugene Jarisch, along with David Conrad, of the Clifton VFW Post 8553. The invocation offered by DAR Regent Sue Fielden. The opening ritual, including the Pledge of Allegiance, the American’s Creed, and the Preamble of the Constitution of the United States were lead by Vice Regent Liz Caraway. The National Anthem was lead by Mary Lou Wickman.
