Ranger’s surprise visit to Reading Program
Submitted by Edgar on
U. S. Army Corp of Engineers stopped by the Nellie Pederson Civic Library’s summer reading program on Thursday, July 10, when Ranger Justyss Esquivel and her water dog “Bobber,” Ranger Lynden Wood, came by to instruct the children on proper use of life vests and water safety. She asked for volunteers to put on life vests and demonstrated what can happen if your life vest is too big or too little. Ranger Justyss encouraged everyone to wear a life vest especially if swimming at a lake.
