While the District 19-3A boys basketball race looks like it will go down to the wire in determining its four post-season berths, the Clifton Cubs go into the final week of the regular season just looking to get in the win column.

After losing to co-league leading Marlin, 51-39, last Tuesday, the Cubs fell to third place West, 59-46, last Friday to remain winless in district and extending their losing streak to 10 straight.

Following a road game in Groesbeck Tuesday after press time, Clifton (0-11 in district, 8-20 overall) will host Whitney (6-5, 13-13) in the home finale Friday before closing out the regular season at McGregor (9-2, 16-7) Feb. 14.
