Justin Sweet of Temple was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and criminal mischief.
On August 21, a Dodge pickup truck was noticed in a drainage ditch on the south end of Avenue D. The engine was still running but no one was in the area. Officers responded and contacted the owner who was not aware his vehicle was missing.
