On Monday, April 25, Bosque County Commissioners called to order a regular session meeting. Commissioners voted and approved to pay claims, salaries and wages against county and precinct funds.

Thursday, April 21 6- 7 p.m. – Dinner Church, a free meal and hour of worship and fellowship sponsored by FUMC Clifton, will be held at Breaking Bread in Clifton.

-Lenquaiz Diamond Hughes, of Copperas Cove, was arrested in Coryell County on April 8, 2022, for burglary of a habitation and theft of property $100 or more but less than $750. -Andy Wayne Mitchell, of Morgan, was arrested by BCSO Shaw on April 8, 2022, for burglary of a habitation with intent to commit other felony.

On Monday, April 11 Bosque County Commissioners called to order a regular session meeting. During announcements and comments Charles Prause spoke to commissioners about the solar industrial complexes trying to come into the county.

As the weather warms up and people begin spending more time in their yards, parks and forests, more people will have the opportunity to encounter insects, some of which can bite or sting. However, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service experts say before you blame a flying insect or a poisonous plant for a skin ailment, you may need to consider another culprit – “stinging” caterpillars.

On Monday, April 11, Meridian City Council called to order a regular session meeting. There was a public hearing held prior to the city council meeting to discuss a special request permit for 400 North Erath for a dog grooming business to be ran from a portable building.
