Bosque Commissioners Court canvases, certifies special election

The Bosque County Commissioners Court approved the canvasing of the November 2023 constitutional amendment special election during its meeting on Monday, November 20, 2023. According to the Bosque County Elections Administration, 2,376 total votes were cast in Bosque County; 30 votes were absentee; 850 were during the period before election day; and 1,495 were cast on the last day to vote.

Public libraries encouraged to apply for TSLAC Texas Reads Grants

The Texas State Library and Archives Commission (TSLAC) has announced that it is accepting applications for its state fiscal year 2025 Texas Reads competitive grant program. The Texas Reads grant funds public library programs that promote reading and literacy within local communities.
