• Michael David Rosecrans, 39, of Clifton, was arrested on October 30 for driving while intoxicated with a BAC of 0.15 or more. • Miguel Angel Estrada, 28, of Whitney, was arrested on October 30 for fleeing from a police officer and driving while intoxicated.

• Benny Charles Smith, 74, of Clifton, was indicted for the deadly conduct discharge of a firearm, third degree felony. • Jason Melvin McCrary, 32, of Waco, was indicted for the possession of a controlled substance: methamphetamine, less than one gram, state jail felony.

Like many events, Veterans Day celebrations look a little different this year. The Bosque River Valley Chapter, NSDAR, was unable to hold their Annual Veterans Tribute, an event they’ve hosted every year since the chapter’s organization in 2013, so they joined forces with the Clifton VFW in their outreach of gratitude for veterans in front of Keith Ace Hardware this past weekend in Clifton.
