Movie posters on display at BAC’s Atrium Gallery

The Atrium Gallery at the Bosque Arts Center will house items featured in the Big Event for viewing in the online auction beginning in mid-March. The movie posters currently on display will remain up in the gallery until the auction items go on display.

Monroe wins in open swine show at Fort Worth Stock Show

Jagger Monroe, a FFA member from Iredell, captured Champion Spotted Gilt in the Open Swine Show during the 2024 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo (FWSSR). The 2024 show hosted exhibitors from across America competing for awards and premiums, including $7,200 in Open Swine Show premiums.

Samford University names Clifton student to the Dean’s List

John Gardner of Clifton was among the 2,122 students named to Samford University’s Dean’s List for the fall 2023 semester. To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework.

The Bosque County Office of Emergency Management and other local emergency service organizations encouraged Clifton residents to work together and calmly prepare for the large influx of visitors for the total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024. The encouragement came during the City of Clifton’s second public meeting on the topic with the Clifton Police Department, Clifton Volunteer Fire Department, North Bosque Emergency Medical Services, and the Bosque County OEM at the Clifton High School cafeteria on Tuesday, March 5.
