On Thursday January 21, 2021 Louis Gonzales, loving husband, father of four and grandfather of eight passed away at age 87. The funeral service were to be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, February 1, 2021 at Lawson Funeral Home at 803 N. Main Street, Meridian, TX 76665. Visitation was to be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Lawson Funeral Home.
Louis was born on December 13, 1933. In April 1952 he married the love of his life, Patricia Felan Gonzales. They raised four sons, Jesse, Rick, Mike and Joe. Louis had a heart of gold and was willing to help anyone at any time. He loved gardening and fixing up old cars. He was always joking around and had a kind and compassionate spirit. He resided in Grand Prairie most of his life until he and his wife decided to retire and move to Whitney. Louis was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Felan Gonzales; parents Guadalupe and Carmen Gonzales; son Joe Gonzales; and grandson Richard Gonzales. He is survived by his sons Jesse, Rick and Mike Gonzales; his grandchildren Jesse, Linda, Michael, Patricia, Alexandria, Ricky and Olivia and several great grandchildren.
