The Clifton Cubs’ Friday night (Feb. 5) District 17-3A home matchup with the West Trojans proved an action-packed affair, one the former ultimately lost, 57-43 despite a hard-fought effort.
Clifton came out hot, with junior Jorge Rodriguez hitting a game-opening three before the Cubs subsequently blocked West’s own opening shot from beyond the arc.
