Clifton High School’s varsity tennis team came away with a number of top-three finishes at Thursday’s (Feb. 25) season-opening tourney at the Waco Tennis Center, led by Ellison Li, who secured second in boys’ singles after wins over Hubbard and Normangee.
Li nearly came away with top honors, falling to Moody, 8-5 in a tightly contested finals match.
