Lady Jacket softball struggles versus Lady Bulldogs

Meridian was unable to find a rhythm versus the Hamilton Lady Bulldogs, who tallied 12 total hits to secure a 22-2 District 12-2A win over the former Tuesday (Feb. 23).

Scoring 14 runs in the top of the first inning, Hamilton took control early, holding Meridian to one run in each of the first two frames, before sealing the contest with another eight scores in the top of the third.

The Lady Jackets’ Elina Rosales and Kayla Rosas each recorded an RBI.
Rosales also split time on the mound with teammates Canyon Stauffer (three strikeouts) and Journee Tweedle for Meridian.
