Seasonal chores

I hated to see the hummingbirds go. I’m still putting out seed and keeping water in the birdbath. After that brief, early temp dip, I thought watering hanging baskets and planters was finished until spring. I was wrong. Still alive. I used to lug plants into my greenhouse each fall –stopped when few survived the winters. It’s more of a holding house. We have an old, wood-burning stove in there…
