Members of the Clifton Study Guild donated a copy of Davy Crockett: Young Rifleman to all four public libraries in Bosque County. The book was donated in memory of guildmember Carolyn Cotton, a direct descendant of Davy Crockett, defender of the Alamo. The book chosen is a children’s book based on Crockett’s life as a child.
