Movie night at the amphitheater

The Meridian Parks and Rec’s movie night at the John A. Lomax Amphitheater was success Saturday night. Though movie-goers braved the cold, they enjoyed free hot dogs and popcorn as they watched the modern Christmas classic, The Polar Express. The Parks and Rec plans to continue its monthly movie showings at the amphitheater with a showing of Happy Feet on Jan. 16.
