Meridian’s Band of Gold competed in the Waco Regional Bands of America at Baylor University’s McLane Stadium last month, bringing home the Class A Regional Champion title, along with awards for Best Musical Performance, Best Visual Performance and Best General Effect.
The award-winning performance came one week after obtaining three 1st Division ratings at the UIL Marching Contest in McGregor.
