Last week in commissioners court it was reported that state assigned nurses were being sent to Goodall-Witcher Healthcare to help cover a staffing shortage due to illness.
According to a GWH spokesperson, while four state-assigned nurses are currently at GWH, they are there to help fill some of the 26 positions open across the campus.
