Jury finds in favor of petitioner; county treasurer to be removed from office

The Bosque County treasurer’s fate was decided yesterday when a jury answered yes to both charges brought against Carla Sigler, saying she failed to complete the required continuing education hours required of her position and did so “recklessly.”

The jury’s decision will effectively remove Sigler from office as Bosque County Treasurer.
