The Meridian Tribune received four journalism awards from the Texas Press Association on Saturday, June 3.
In Headline Writing, Barner won first place; she also won fourth place in Page Design in the 2022 Texas Better Newspaper Contest.
In Column Writing, Dr. Ellis won second place.
In General Excellence, the Tribune won fourth place.
