Bosque County Treasurer-elect Carla Sigler, who was removed from office in August by a jury of her peers, filed a notice of appeal to overturn that decision in the 10th Court of Appeals in Waco.
That case was transferred to the 6th Court of Appeals in Texarkana in October, but Sigler filed a motion with the court last week seeking to voluntarily dismiss the appeal, which was granted.
