Six volunteer fire departments in Bosque County responded with mutual aid in Somervell County on Saturday, May 13.
The call was to assist with extinguishing a structure fire at Riverbend Retreat.
The four smaller VFDs from the northern part of Bosque County –Brazos Point, Walnut Springs, Morgan, and Kopperl– as well as those from Meridian and Clifton sent trucks and volunteers to the scene.
