The W. E. (Buster) and Vada Wimberly family held their 70th family reunion over the last weekend in June. Over 80 were in attendance.
The reunion began in 1953 on the river bottoms of Lake Whitney.
The Wimberly family spent most of their lives in the Bosque County area and retired in Cranfills Gap, where they raised their seven children: Betty, Norma, Ida, Hans (Jake), Cecil, Cloyce and Loyce.
