The Texas Broadband Development Office (BDO) released a map that will assist eligible communities interested in improving their Internet services in Texas. The Texas Broadband Development Map uses data collected from internet service providers (ISPs) to show the availability of various types of highspeed internet access across Texas.

BCMA invites young musicians to apply for spring showcase

The Bosque Civic Music Association is seeking young musicians to perform at its annual showcase in March. The Showcase of Young Musicians is open to performers all ages with a demonstrated level of musical proficiency in a wide range of musical forms, be that vocal or instrumental.

CEDC hears city’s proposal for Armory renovations

The Clifton Economic Development Corporation’s Board of Directors listened to a presentation on the City of Clifton’s Armory Restoration Project during its meeting on Wednesday, January 25, at the Clifton Chamber of Commerce’s office. Clifton City Administrator David McDowell led the presentation with Mark Kettler, a general contractor based in Clifton.

Farm Bureau, John Deere sign ‘Right to Repair’ memo

The American Farm Bureau Federation and John Deere signed a memorandum of understanding recently that ensures farmers’ and ranchers’ right to repair their own farm equipment. The MOU, signed at the 2023 AFBF Convention in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is the culmination of several years of discussions between AFBF and John Deere.

Grants available for projects for sustainable community forests
