Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office of McLennan, Bosque, Limestone, Bell, Coryell, Falls and Hill Counties will host the seventh annual Spring Forage Field Day on Friday, May 27, 2022. This year’s event will be hosted by Mr.

Mike Domel, along with Chris Sanders and First Security State Bank, sponsored an appreciation dinner for Bosque County fire fighters and their spouses Friday evening where Domel presented the Bosque County Fire Association with a check for over $69,000 with more pledged.

The Laguna Park Mobile Food Pantry will be in town at the Wings of Faith Christian Fellowship Church Saturday, May 7 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

On Saturday, April 23rd, a crowd of visitors enjoyed a congenial evening at the Ringness House. Though windy, the evening was pleasant and the guests enjoyed the rural vernal setting. Tables of sumptuous hors d’oeuvres tempted the appetites, served with red or white wines or beer. A number of those present attended from out of town— some from as far away as Fort Worth.

The library in Clifton is excited to announce the return of story time to the Nellie Pederson Civic Library. Library Director Lewis Stansell said story time was cancelled in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the library looks forward to starting it back up again.

-Stephanie Leigh Schieffer, of Glen Rose, was arrested by BCSO Hardy on April 22, 2022, for the possession of a controlled substance Penalty Group 1 less than one gram and the possession of marijuana less than two ounces. -Georgie Randal Conner, of Morgan, was arrested by BCSO Shaw on April 22, 2022, for public intoxication.
