Early voting in Bosque County has set records that might not soon be matched. According to Bosque County Election Coordinator Crystal Denmam 5,783 people voted in person and over 600 people voted by mail, meaning at least 6,783 people had cast their ballot before election day.

As the world’s population increases, scientists and agriculturalists face a growing challenge to produce more, higher quality food for consumers while using fewer natural resources and taking care to appropriately manage and conserve the resources that still exist.

Each year, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Bosque County and the Commissioner’s Court host a Volunteer Recognition Banquet to recognize outstanding volunteers who serve the residents of Bosque County. These volunteers give their time and energy to serve in civic and community organizations and to improve our communities.
