Chelce LeeAnn Marie Hensley

Chelce LeeAnn Marie Hensley was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, October 30, 1995 to Ronald and Roxanne Hensley. She was the younger sibling to three brothers Jason, Devon and Jesten. Chelce passed Saturday night, March 13, 2021 from a preexisting heart condition at the age of 25.

Chelce grew up in Fort Smith, Arkansas where she lived primarily with her grandmother Ledonna and Aunt Linda. When Chelce was seven, Linda sadly came down with cancer and passed away, so Ledonna, brought the family to Texas to be closer to relatives in the Lake Whitney area.

Chelce went to school in Clifton. She loved to sing, act and dance in her younger years. Chelce loved spending time with her family and friends. Going to Lake Whitney, spending time with the youth group from The First Baptist Church of Laguna Park and going to movies were some of her favorite pastimes. In 2013 Chelce gave birth to her first son Bryson, her second son Bentley in 2016 and her daughter little Scarlett in 2020.

Chelce lived for her kids and fiancé Alec as well as her closest friends. Growing up she wanted nothing more than to be a great mom and friend. She loved to spend time with her kids, especially on game day and field trip days; those were her favorite moments. Chelce homeschooled her boys this year due to COVID-19. She loved watching them learn and made education a priority. Chelce wanted nothing more than for her kids to have a wonderful future. 

Chelce is survived by her fiancé, Alec Weaver; her children Bryson, Bentley and Scarlett; mother Roxanne Hensley; brothers Jesten Hensley (family Kevyn and Kaden Hensley) and Jason Smith; grandmother Ledonna Leonard; grandfather Addie Hensley; uncles Randy Hensley (family Kathleen Hensley, Bethany and Tim Barnes and Braden Sanner) and Jack Hensley (family Daphne, Megan, Amanda and Emma Kate Hensley). She is also survived by a large extended family and many good friends including Eden Carson, Jesse Collins and Ricky Dashner.

Chelce will always be loved and never forgotten. She was preceded in death by many family members in heaven including her brother Devon Smith, father Ron Hensley and aunt, Linda Hensley.
