On June 12, 2021, God sent the angels to bring Margaret Harrington, a loving mother, home to heaven at the age of 89.

A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2021, at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Timothy Vaverek as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in West.

Margaret Mary (Stacha) Harrington was born July 10, 1931, in Clifton, the daughter of the late Louis A. Stacha Sr. and Ludmilla "Lillie" (Kahanek) Stacha. She attended Clifton High School. In 1955, she graduated from Providence Hospital School of Nursing in Waco as a registered nurse. From there she spent her career caring for patients from newborns to U.S. veterans. On April 17, 1955, Margaret was united in marriage to Gerard Harrington of Englewood, New Jersey. The two went on to have four children. The family moved to New Jersey and later divorced. Margaret carried on raising her four children in NJ. After retiring, she returned to Plano where she cared for her mother.

Survivors include her beloved children, Kathleen Harrington, Joseph Harrington, Therese Obermeyer and husband Ken, and John Harrington and wife Robin Weiner-Harrington; her grandchildren, Chris Harrington and wife Jenifher Ramos-Harrington, Ben Obermeyer and wife Amy Broderick-Obermeyer, Rhea Obermeyer-Lord and husband Stewart Lord, Caylee Harrington-Wolf and husband Mike Wolf, Becca Harrington-Kupershtok and husband Dima Kupershtok and Ryan Harrington; her two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Eva Kate; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are her grandsons, and Chris Stacha and Gary Stacha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

"Mom, you will forever remain in our hearts. We carry with us your strength, example, inspiration and hopefully your wisdom. God has truly blessed us with the precious gift of you to be our mom. For that, we will forever be humbled."
