Perry Suter passed away on November 12 at the age of 94. He was born October 29, 1927, in the German Valley of Hamilton County to Norbert and Louise Nehring Suter.
Perry graduated from Cranfills Gap High School. In 1949 he married Maurine Rohne Suter in Cranfills Gap and started his teaching and coaching career at Bynum, Texas. In 1964, he moved the family to Austin to begin teaching Industrial Arts for the Austin ISD and retired as supervisor of Vocational Programs. Following the death of his first wife, he married Vivian Bauhof Suter.
He is preceded in death by first wife Maurine Suter; son David Suter; and second wife Vivian Bauhof Suter. He is survived by son, Bill Suter and wife Linda; daughter Cindy Bauhof Pearson and husband Norman; daughter-in-law Debbie Suter-Stubblefield; five grandchildren, Greg Suter, Mark Suter, Thomas Suter, Cathy Suter Warren and Edward Pearson; seven great grandchildren; and two brothers-in-law, Wayne Rohne and Paul Rohne.
Services will be held at Harrell Funeral Home, Austin, Sunday, November 21, at 3 p.m. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m.
Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, November 22 at Boggy Cemetery.
