It was the first game in 46 years that Lady Yellow Jacket volleyball was played played at home.
The Meridian team might have lost to Rio Vista in three sets, but the effort was certainly there, new Meridian Head Volleyball Coach Megan Styron said.
“I think it was good to see some competition from a program that hasn’t been around awhile,” Styron said Tuesday.
