On Feb. 1 third place (Overall 20-6) (District 6-3) Clifton Cubs faced off with sixth place (Overall 13-15) (District 2-7) Troy Trojans on the Trojans’ home court. The first quarter proved to be a battle as the Cubs barely took the lead, ending the quarter 9-7. The second quarter the Cubs’ defense allowed the Trojans a gain of 15 points to the Cubs’ 16, keeping the Cubs’ lead close at 25-22. …
